Gold and Gems Art Promotion Council of Pakistan (GGAPCP) launched its new website on Nov 13, 2015 at a local hotel in Lahore. Rana Muhammad Asghar, Punjab Zonal Chairman of the council, inaugurated the website. GGAPCP President Muhammad Ahmad was also present on the occasion. Mr. Ahmad said that the new website would help introduce Gems and Jewellery industry of Pakistan across the globe. The website would also bring to light the gems and mineral resources of the country worldwide as well as would boost up business with the international partners. Lahore Division Sarafa & Jewellers Association’s pattern in chief Haji Muhammad Ikram, President Haji Muhammad Afzal, Vice-President Jewellery sector (GGAPCP) Rana Nadeem Aleem, Vice-President Gems sector (GGAPCP) Irfan Salahuddin, General Secretary Malik Muhammad Tahir Rafiq and Joint Secretary Muhammad Shahid were also present there on the occasion. Muhammad Alamgir hosted the inauguration ceremony.
