LAHORE__Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) Vice-President Hameed Akhtar Chadda has appreciated the newly launched website of Gold & Gems Art Promotion Council of Pakistan.

He has termed it a milestone in the gems sector and great step towards its development across the globe through internet.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, Mr. Chadda said that they were trying their best to shift dependence of exports from traditional to non-traditional and value added items. The Pakistan businessmen who were engaged in the export of gems and jewellery must be encouraged as they were earning foreign exchange for the country, he added. He also said that the FPCCI was fully satisfied with the performance of GGAPCP for managing the affairs. He wished Gems and Gold Art Promotion Council of Pakistan more success in gems sector.
